Tagged n' shit.
I got tagged ~ 25 things. HAVE FUN READING MY WALL OF TEXT.
1. I am 23. I don't feel 23, which is ok because I look younger and am totally immature. Except when it comes to feelings.
2. I have two younger brothers. Because of this, I grew up on Nintendo 64, Pokemon, and we played with a mixture of My Little Ponies, Littlest Pet Shop, Jurassic Park, Batman and Hot Wheels (Yes, our world has dinos AND mystical ponies). I feel that growing up, I got the best of both sides and I think it has made me a better person.
3. I have been with my boyfriend for nearly ...8 years? He was my high-school sweetheart and though we've had our rough spots and it's never been picture perfect, I'm likely to marry him. He's my best friend.
4. I have a ferret named Optimus Prime. I love that little ball of fur. He's deaf and mainly lives in my spare bathroom.
5. I have played World of Warcraft since 2005. In that time I have played every expansion, raided in top guilds, rivaled the best guild on our server for Heroic Boss Server First Kills, and played on the Marshal Team in PvP (for 6 months straight!). My main is a paladin and I have performed every role. I get mad props for my skillz, and the majority of players do not even know that I'm a girl.
6. I have trouble buying anything other than grey, brown, black, white and muted clothing. The majority of my color comes from accessories or images on the items, though I often will force myself into getting brighter colored items. (Most of the brightly colored things in my wardrobe were bought by my mom.) I love wearing earthy colors.
7. When I'm given a moment to think, I am so indecisive that I have trouble deciding even simple things unless I have an absolutely clear path. I'm just so afraid of messing something up. I'm learning to take charge, but often I need someone to hold my hand.
8. One day when I was 13, I made the decision that I was going to draw for real instead of just doodling. After a few hours I taught myself how to draw in color, use colored pencils and reproduce photographic realism. Since then I've participated in every physical form of fine art- My favorites are Oil/ Acryl Painting and Digital.
9. People say I have an 'artist's eye' and 'raw talent' and that I'm wasting myself by not doing art. Yet I still am not pursuing the arts as a career at this point in life. I studied Science instead! (Art will always be my passion/ true love though.)
10. I write Children's Books for fun when I get the 'inspiration' for a new idea. So far I've completed one, and have two on the back burner (with various short and silly ones that I just don't count). One day, if I finish illustrating them, I hope to get one published.
11. I'm a college graduate and I am currently unemployed. I'm waiting on my boyfriend to finish his schooling this year because it's likely that his job will move us :( (Or at least this is what I tell myself. It's scary to be grown up!) I make money by crafting and random graphic design opportunities, though a lot of the time I rely on savings.
12. I taught myself to crochet using the internet, in honor of my Grandmother. She left me a mountain of yarn and some of her hooks. I guess it was by some act of grace that I actually developed a desire, no...a NEED to crochet. I haven't stopped since.
13. I'm an extremely SHY and worrisome person. To the point of full-blown anxiety. Sometimes I get physically sick from worrying about things! However, take me out of the city and I'm not afraid of anything. ...but I'm still shy. XD
14. I own a kayak- It's blue and white :) I also whitewater when possible (though usually in a raft with the family). When it comes to rafting, I think my favorite part is riding the bull. (The term for sitting on the very front edge of the raft as you go through the rapids. It leaves you vulnerable, and easily thrown from the raft. It's a risk, but sooooo worth it.)
15. I make lists constantly. It bothers me not to be able to DO something, so when I'm stuck in a situation that involves not being able to be productive (At least in my eyes. Sometimes being productive is playing videogames.) then I will remake these lists.
16. While on stage at my preschool graduation, when asked what I wanted to be when I grow up I answered: A Mommy. That still holds true.
17. I am a Geocacher. If you don't know what that is, you should look it up! It's a lot of fun :)
18. I love most music. And it's more about a certain tone in the voices, melodies and the words that determines my favorites. If I had to pick a genre I'd have to say Alternative? Though I have strong ties to Trance. And now Country because my boy is all country<3 I don't really like Rap. Music keeps me sane.
19. I was born and raised in Chicago. Despite the frigid winters, and wind I still do not often wear a coat in Winter. Hoodies always :D
20. People say I dream too big. - I always have a million gigantic plans and often finish nothing because I try to do too much
